Google Maps for businesses in Puerto Rico.

When someone searches “near me”, Google shows a map of nearby businesses before any website. I create or claim your Google Business Profile, fill it in and link it to your site, so you have your best chance of showing up there.

What a Google Business Profile is

It’s your business’s listing on Google Maps and in Google search: your name, category, hours, address, phone, photos, reviews and buttons to call, get directions or visit your site. It used to be called Google My Business. Google doesn’t charge for it, but someone has to create it, verify it and keep it current.

Many Puerto Rico businesses already have one without knowing it: Google sometimes creates it from whatever it finds, with the wrong hours or no phone number. If that’s you, I claim it and fix it.

What I set up on your profile

A complete profile is the one that works best. This is what I get ready:

Name and category

Your real name, with no stuffed keywords, and the category that tells Google what you do: restaurant, beauty salon, contractor. The main category weighs a lot in when you show up.

Hours

Your hours for each day, and holiday hours when they change, so nobody arrives at a locked door.

Phone, WhatsApp and website

The buttons people tap: call, message you, and the link to your website, where everything else is.

Photos

Your storefront, your interior and your work, so people recognize the place when they arrive.

Service area

If you’re a contractor or work at Customers’ homes, I list the towns you cover instead of showing your home address.

Google’s verification

Google has to confirm the business exists before showing it in full. Depending on the case, it sends a code or asks for a short video of the business: your sign, your space, your tools. I start the process and tell you exactly what to film.

Google runs the verification, not me. It can take a few days and sometimes longer, so I start it in the first week.

How your profile and your website work together

The profile is what people see first; the website is where they decide. From the profile’s “Website” button, a Customer lands on your site, with the full menu, your services, your prices and the way to order or ask for a quote.

The site, in turn, confirms to Google the same name, address, phone and hours the profile shows. When everything matches, Google trusts what it shows about you more.

Reviews: your part and mine

Reviews weigh heavily in who people pick. I add you as a manager of the profile so you can answer every review from your phone, good or bad; a kind reply to a bad review says a lot about your business.

What I don’t do is buy or invent reviews. It’s against Google’s rules and can get the profile taken down. What works is asking happy Customers to leave one, with a direct link you can send them.

Google Maps, website, domain and email

The Google profile comes with every plan, together with your website, your domain and your professional email. I use your business email for the profile, so everything sits under the same name.

See how it all fits for your kind of business: web design for restaurants, for salons and for contractors. Or go back to website design for businesses to see the plans, along with your domain and your professional email.

Questions

How much does it cost to put my business on Google Maps?

Google doesn’t charge for the profile. My part (creating, verifying, completing and keeping it current) is included in every plan, along with your website, domain and email.

Can you guarantee I’ll show up first on Google Maps?

No, and nobody can. Google decides based on how close the person is, how well your profile answers what they searched and your reputation. What I do is leave your profile complete, verified and linked to a good website.

I already have a Google Maps profile. Will I lose it?

No. I claim it with your business email, fix what’s wrong and link it to your new site. Your reviews and photos stay.

Who owns the profile?

While you’re on the plan I manage it from my company’s account and you’re a manager on it. If you cancel and owe nothing, I hand it to you along with the domain, the website and the email.

I don’t have a storefront. Can I be on Google Maps?

Yes. If you go to your Customers’ homes, the profile shows the towns you cover instead of your address.
